let's just say that it uh. really sucked.
basically, one day i got a facebook notif asking about a verification code of someone trying to get into my account. i brushed it off, thought nothing of it. check my insta a few hours later, and why the HELL am i sending a bunch of messages to people, and then myself (off of my alt?)
yea, you guessed it, i got hacked. to be completely honest, i think it was an infostealer from me trying to download tomodachi life for an emulator. however, i thought the guy was done and i was able to get him out of my account and whatnot. turns out, i was completely wrong. guy keeps sending images (at least on my alt account that he got too. only one of the four, though). made sure that the facebook was locked down after i saw that the guy was still in there, meta as a whole, too.
give it a few hours, get a text from my girlie about how my discord alt (what's up with the alts?) is sending those EXACT SAME IMAGES. had to scramble while at my job to get it resolved, changed my password, put on two factor authentication too. (i also made sure to put it on all of my other meta accounts). i thought that my main discord would be fine since it had two-factor on it already. give it another few hours, and for some weird reason, dms of people i had blocked started coming up on my friends list.... so, once again i scrambled to change my password, and add a new form of two factor authentication. on stream, i decided to simply to a clean reinstall of windows, and got a malware checker so that if anything else came up, i would be aware.
as of writing this, it's been a few days after the incident. i'm pretty much safe i think, but holy shit, that SUCKED. don't be a stupid chud who downloads random files off the internet, kids.
